To all those that made it out to one of our shows on Friday or Sunday: A Big THANKS! We hope you had a good time. We certainly did!

The FAWM Showcase at the Acadia was a blast. The G-Slab crew turned in a great performance that was a lot of fun. Erin O’Brien and Burr’s sets were outstanding. Our sets were pretty good as well (we hope). I debuted 11 of the songs I wrote for FAWM 2006.

Speaking of FAWM 2006, work is underway to put together a new compilation album. I am planning to submit a track again this year. The difficulty lies in the fact that I believe the material I created this year is much stronger, so I am having some trouble deciding which track to submit.

If one of these songs reaches out to you and says “Pick Me”, I would really appreciate a quick Email saying which song you think would be the best fit.

One further note. If you had trouble emailing me over the last day or two, it is because Distad.Net is now on a new webhost. As part of the transition, the site was down and email was unavailable for a little while. Everything should be up and running now. The Guestbook and Polls may be dissapearing soon as well because of the switch, but I’ll try to save the info to put into the new site. The switch to the new webhost will mean I’ll have a lot more things I can do with the site. Expect to see a site redesign with a bunch of cool new features in the future. I’m planning to release the new site in conjunction with the new CD, so check back later this summer or early fall.
