Song1 - Over the Top

This song is an experiment for me. Most of the rest of the songs this month won't be quite like this.

This came to me as I was watching the last episode of the 4th season of Black Adder. It takes place in the trenches of World War One. The ending to the show, which is normally a very funny comedy, was very poignant and almost depressing. The reality of men going to face certain death over No Man's Land and still having the cajones to do it was incredible to me.

So I decided to write a drinking song, of sorts.
Please note: to any Germans, or persons of Germanic heritage (which includes myself): Do not take offense at the word Hun. I wrote this from the perspective of the Brits and it fit with that perspective.
