Shows!

Life has been crazy, but the music does not stop. Thanks to all those that came out to the Kitty Cat or to the Party at the pond. This is shaping up to be a summer of crazy good music!

We have three shows coming up in the somewhat near future. There will be a whole bunch of new material including songs from FAWM 2007. In fact, George S of G-Slab fame is joining Jen and I as a regular player, adding his great guitar talents as well as his awesome drumming/percussion. He is the inventor of the now-infamous Log Drum (patent pending), which, if you haven’t seen it in action, you must hear! These upcoming shows are going to be a bit more rounded “full band’ experiences. And keep an eye out for a few possible performances from the G-Slab ensemble!

Friday, July 27th, we are going to be at Dunn Brothers Coffee in White Bear Lake. This is one of my favorite coffee shop venues and it’s always a blast! The show starts at 7:00 PM

Sunday July 29th - FAWM Midwest Songwriters Showcase! at the Acadia Cafe This is the big one! We have FAWM participants from MN and WI getting together to play songs they wrote during February. Autoclamp, Us, G-Slab, Nancy Rost, and Matt Pierce all sharing the stage in a four hour session of music. We’ll be playing round robin, so even if you can only stop by for a half hour, you’ll still probably get to hear a mix of songwriters. We did this last year and it was about as much fun as you can have legally.

The doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:00 and goes till 11:00 PM. There is a $3.00 cover charge.

Check out this poster. If you feel like helping out, print it out and post it.

Finally, Friday August 24th, we’ll be at Dunn Brothers Coffee in Roseville. This is a new venue for us, but it looks like it will be a very solid place to play and the location is great. Show starts at 7:00 PM.

Full details as well as maps to the the venues are in the Shows section. Hope to see you at a show!
