Explanation of Praise I set out a few years ago to write a praise song. I had the chord progression and some basic words.
I tried really hard to add verses to it and make it longer and more complex. I grew frustrated with it and buried it for 2 years. As part of the Toy Garden, as I thought about simplicty, it resurfaced. I stripped out
the extraneous stuff, refined the lyrics to be more focused, and went from there. Lyrically and musically it is not quite typical for a praise and worship song, but that isn't
important. The intention is.

above all Creation
Jesus, I love you
Jesus, I praise you
Your Grace surrounds me
in all of Creation
Spirit, I love you
Spirit, I need you
Your Wisdom guides me
through all of Creation
